We the People cannot compete with industries of this size. They can throw a few billion into buying off Congress without even putting a dent in their profit margins. The financial influence and corruption will only continue to escalate until we throw a wrench in the gears.
The first step HAS TO BE imposing Term Limit on Congress. Once the senior/most powerful members, who have been in bed with the lobbyists for 30 or 40 years, are gone, we can begin on legislation to limit lobbyist influence..
With the second option of Article 5, the people and the States can supersede the authority of Congress; adding a Term Limits Amendment to the Constitution; and Congress has no authority to stop it.
